How much audio do I need to clone a voice?

As little as 30 seconds works, but 1–2 minutes produces much better results. Voicemails, home videos, or any recording of them speaking naturally works well.

Is the avatar real video of my loved one?

No. The talking avatar is AI-generated from a photo using D-ID technology. It is clearly labeled as an AI recreation, not real footage.
